Welcome to the Peak District Walks website here you will find a selection of
short, long and circular countryside walks
in the Peak District. To help you choose your walk in the Peak District
National Park we have included our route's, video's and photographs
of all the walks and trails we've personally completed.
We've drawn
them from a variety of sources as many people do and tweaked many of them
to suit our purposes. Such as detouring for geocaches, detouring for
amenities, making it a circular walk etc. Some are so well known and
common that no changes were needed and they were a perfect experience. In
essence, we would like to share with you free of any charge or obligation
our personal experience on these walks.
You are welcome to download our GPX files of the routes we
used. You can use this in many GPS devices. All the files are provided
in our download
section FREE OF
CHARGE and AS IS. We accept no liability for use or misuse of this file.
Please refer to our Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions for further
details.
We are also in the process of putting together a list of
accommodation including Bed and Breakfast, Guest Houses, Holiday & Self-Catering Cottages, Farms, Hotels, Hostels, Bunkhouses, Campsites and
other Walkers Accommodation in the Peak District.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Peak District is an upland area in central and northern England, lying mainly in northern Derbyshire, but also covering parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, and South and West Yorkshire.
Most of the area falls within the Peak District National Park, whose designation in 1951 made it the first national park in the British
Isles. An area of great diversity, it is conventionally split into the northern Dark Peak, where most of the moorland is found and whose geology is gritstone, and the southern White Peak, where most of the population lives and where the geology is mainly limestone-based.
